“I was judging myself by my intentions while the world was judging me by my actions.” Unknown
The quote kind of reminds me of the verse in Matthew where Jesus is talking about pulling the log out of your eye before pulling the twigs out of someone else’s eye. It’s amazing how many Christ followers believe they are following Christ by judging and pointing out others sin’s but, with good intentions. Sometimes we have to look in the mirror and ask the Holy Spirit to help us see our arrogance and ask Him to humble us. Jesus did not die and rise again so when you believe you become the judge of the world. He did that so you would be forgiven and have life and then to share the good news. To many folks share the good news like it is bad news. You need to make sure the good news is still the good news in your life. And make sure the gospel is your life. They say preach the gospel and if you have to speak. “Your walk talks and your talk talks but, your walk talks loader than your talk talks.”
