Selfish / Selfless

“Don’t be selfish; don’t live to make a good impression on others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourself. Don’t think only about your own affairs, but be interested in others, too, and what they are doing.” Philippians 2:3-4

There is a old saying that says, selfishness equals separation, and selflessness brings people together. It is a trustworthy statement. I enjoy the game of basketball and enjoy watching the greats, and I think one of the great players of this day and age is LeBron James. And what you hear commentators talk about is his unselfish play and how he keeps his team mates  involved. I would say it is a biblical way to play ball and do life. If your team (marriage) is not going well no doubt somebody is a ball hog. Jesus said “I have not come to be served but to serve.” (Matt 20:28) Another great saying my mom taught me was and is Jesus, Others, You , JOY baby JOY: you want joy than SERVE!
